How this works in practice
If we publish a cast guide for a new BBC drama and include a promotional image supplied by the broadcaster, we do so under an editorial licence. If the broadcaster subsequently withdraws that licence, we remove the image within 24 hours of notification.
Similarly, if a photographer discovers one of their stills used in a filmography page without permission, they can email hello@castradar.uk. We will verify the claim and take appropriate action, whether that means removing the image, adding a credit, or negotiating a licence. This process is straightforward and we handle it confidentially.
