Ownership & Funding

This page explains who owns and funds Castradar.uk, so you know our film and TV guides are created independently. We believe transparency builds trust with viewers who rely on our cast lists, streaming recommendations and release schedules. Here is a straightforward breakdown of our ownership, funding and how editorial decisions stay impartial.

How does Castradar.uk make money?

Castradar.uk is funded through a mix of display advertising, affiliate commissions, sponsored content, commercial partnerships and content licensing. Every piece of sponsored material is clearly labelled, and all affiliate links are disclosed so you know when we may earn a fee if you click through.

Our main revenue comes from display adverts placed alongside our guides and from affiliate programmes with streaming services, ticketing platforms and retailers. When you follow a link to watch a film on a service such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Disney+, or to book cinema tickets, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. We also publish occasional sponsored features – for example, a partner may commission a behind-the-scenes explainer about a new series – but these are always marked as “sponsored” and do not influence our editorial judgement. For full details, see our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure and Sponsored Content Policy.

Importantly, no commercial relationship determines what we write or how we cover a film, TV show or actor. Our editorial team – led by Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Hart – retains complete independence over content, corrections and standards. You can read more about how we maintain that separation in our Editorial Policy.

Who owns and operates Castradar.uk?

Castradar.uk is operated by Europa Point Publishing Ltd., a private company limited by shares registered in Gibraltar (company number 130118).

The company’s registered office is at Office 2.5, ICC, Casemates Square, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Europa Point Publishing Ltd. owns and runs the site, handles advertising and commercial partnerships, and provides the editorial infrastructure that supports our team of editors, writers and fact-checkers. While the company is privately held, our editorial policy guarantees that no owner, shareholder or advertiser can dictate what we publish. The Editor-in-Chief and managing editors have the final say on all content, from cast-guide accuracy to corrections. If you have any questions about ownership or funding, you can reach us via our Contact page.

How this works in practice

Imagine you are reading our cast guide for the latest series of Doctor Who. The guide lists every actor, their character and which episodes they appear in, alongside streaming availability on BBC iPlayer and Disney+. At the bottom you see a link to subscribe to a streaming service. That link is an affiliate link – if you click and sign up, we earn a small commission, but our verdict on the series and the accuracy of the cast credits are decided by our editorial team, not by any commercial deal. The same principle applies to every filmography, release schedule and celebrity feature we produce. Our Editorial Policy and Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure give you the full picture, and our Standards & Fact-Checking Lead, Patrick Nolan, independently reviews any claims or corrections.

In short

Castradar.uk is owned by Europa Point Publishing Ltd. and funded through clear, transparent revenue streams that never compromise editorial independence. You can trust that our cast guides, streaming advice and industry updates are written for viewers, not for advertisers.
